Welcome to the Jungle - Part 2

I already shared how crazy our front yard looks. Mike is actually mowing the lawn for the first time as we speak! I thought with this post I'd document our backyard jungle as well. Here's the mess we were left with:

Isn't that crazy?! It's as if the previous owners didn't believe in lawn care. Good thing Mike and I (mostly Mike) aren't scared of a little hard work! See below for a long day's work "after" pictures (FYI Mike and his brother also washed the deck and used stain remover as prepping for our next project - staining the deck):

We're aware that the taller bushes are oddly shaped now, but Mike had to cut the bushes in enough to be able to stain the railing. They'll grow back, right?
