Our Story

We're the Smith's! My husband (Mike) and I are high school sweethearts. We graduated in 2007 and went to separte colleges 4 hours apart. The long distance only cemented his place in my heart.

Mike played football - clearly my all-star!

After 4 years of dating, Mike proposed May 22nd 2010. It was fabulous and crazy wonderful - everything it's cracked up to be! I couldn't have asked for a better memory.

On August 6th 2011, I became Mrs. Smith (I'll pause while you make the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" joke to yourself - everybody does it!). I would say it was the best day of my life but every day after has been even more amazing. I love building our life together - we're beyond blessed.

Then we bought our first house. A year and six days later, we flipped our house because of a lot of elbow grease and our DIY attitudes (see our Before & After page!)

 

Four short days later (after a couple months of searching), we bought our next house.

 

 

Join us as we take another home and even more projects. Because we all know, I'm still a tad dramatic (and getting more sassy by the minute) and Mike is a stubborn DIY-man. So it's always an adventure with us!
